Upper Eyelid Lift in 30 year-old Chicago area female in Downers Grove, IL*

This is a 30 year-old female who presented to the office with complaints of excess skin of her upper eyelids. She said it ran in her family and that the excess skin was weighing on her upper eyelids. We recommended bilateral upper blepharoplasties (upper eyelid lift) with skin removal. We recommended she have it done at our AAAASF accredited office-based operating room in Downers Grove, IL. The procedure was done under local anesthesia and took about one hour to complete. The patient had an uneventful postoperative course with removal of sutures at day five and resolution of bruising and swelling at two weeks.
