Drainless Tummy Tuck in Downers Grove, IL by Robert J Paresi Jr, MD in 40 yr old*

This is a 40 year-old female, mother of two, who presented to the office with complaints of a lower abdominal pannus, abdominal stretch marks, and an abdominal bulge from rectus diastasis. On exam, the patient had a rectus diastasis and a significant amount of lower abdominal excess skin. We recommended a full abdominoplasty with liposuction of the waist. The patient had the surgery done under general anesthesia at our AAAASF accredited facility in Downers Grove, IL. We used the drainless technique with progressive tension sutures, and injected the abdominal wall with Exparel for better postoperative pain control. The muscle repair was done with permanent sutures to avoid any future recurrence of the muscle separation. The patient had a uneventful postoperative course.
