36 year-old female with large pendulous breasts and lower back pain.*

Patient is a 36 year-old female with symptomatic large pendulous breasts which she had since high school. She wanted her breasts reduced to alleviate her lower back pain, recurrent rashes and shoulder pain related to her large breasts. We decided on a vertical scar breast reduction to reshape her breasts as well as limit her overall scar burden. This eliminates the need for a horizontal scar on the underside of the breasts. The patient had a bilateral 500 gm breast reduction.
