Arm Lift in a 34 year-old Chicago female in Downers Grove, IL*

The patient presented to the office after a 75 lb weight loss from a gastric sleeve operation. She reported that despite her weight loss, she had disproportionately large arms. She was unable to find clothing and always had to hide her arms. She had bilateral brachioplasties (Arm Lift) under general anesthesia at InsideLookMD in Downers Grove, IL, a JCAHO accredited facility. We do a combination of brachioplasty with liposuction with a MicroAire power-assisted liposuction machine to give a better contour to the arms. The incision placement is important to hide the scar as much as possible.
